SILCSCREEN IMPRINT

Screen printing is a printing process in which ink is transferred to the material to be printed through a fine mesh.

A stencil or exposure mask is used to expose the fabric at the points where the ink is to penetrate the fabric.

The ink is applied to the screen and a squeegee is passed over the exposed areas so that the ink is transferred to the textile.

ADVANTAGE

High ink coverage + long durability

IMPORTANT

light-colored inks require an underlay on a dark background - this results in 2 printing processes

USE

Useful from 50 pieces (depending on the quantity of printing ink)
